Color, Textures, and Patterns

♥hello everyone!

I'm finally back! School has been really hectic over the past couple of weeks; I've just been bombarded with homework and tests and projects and haven't really had much time to to blog. Fortunately, though, everything has calmed down a bit.

Since I pretty much have everything I need for my fall/winter wardrobe, I decided to have a some fun and take pictures of some colors/textures/patterns in my wardrobe...take a guess at what article of clothing each swatch belongs to (some of them are quite obvious)! :)

I hope you had fun looking at all of the textures and colors; I had a lot of fun taking the pictures!
And here are what each swatch belongs to...
1. Light blue BCBG zip-up jacket (it has a quilted front and ribbed sleeves/back/collar)
2. Blue Whim jacket (the cuffs and hems are ribbed)
3. Distressed leather Yaya Aflafo blazer
4. Chunky cable knit Gap sweater
5. Berry-colored Vince cardigan
6. Burnt orange Milly cardigan
7. The lining of my peacoat (the one with the gold buttons in my outfit post)
8. BCBG sleeveles turtleneck sweater
9. Sheer Eliot blouse (it's supposed to be more of a lemon yellow)
10. Plaid Wallace blouse
11. MK2K dress
12. Aqua sweater dress (the teal is actually a bit duller)
13. Aqua houndstooth jumper
14. Cobalt blue A&F jeans (I bought these a while ago; I was really surprised to find jeans in a wash that wasn't light, medium, or dark denim)
15. Plum-colored Sevens (well, the picture is kind of self-explanatory)
16. Light [metallic] gold leather Ugg booties (I'm not really a big fan of the suede Uggs, but I really like this new style which came out a few months ago)
17. Purple suede Steve Madden slouchy boots (the picture is of the cuff)
18. Yellow AE scarf (I wore this along with my gold-buttoned peacoat...the scarf is actually a lot brighter. I don't know why it's so faint in this photo. You can CLICK HERE to see the post.)
19. Gray Echo Design scarf (extremely soft :))
Which one(s), if any, are your favorite??

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And lastly,!
I bought some things I mentioned in my last post:
-Jet black jeans
-Two turtlenecks: one white and one black
-Purple scarf
I also bought some other things that I wanted but didn't mention:
-Wine colored tights
-Ombre flats
-A super cozy Marc by Marc Jacobs jacket
***Pictures to come, I promise! ***
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now for my question of the moment to all of you readers:
What is your ONE fall/winter essential that you just can't live without?
And I mean ONE and ONE ONLY...I know this is probably a very tough question but I'm really interested to hear everyone's answers!!!
I will put my own answer on my next post. :]

And thank you to everyone for the answers about Google AdSense. The info helped me a lot and I've decided not to get it, since it doesn't seem worth it.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

♥Tina

This is such a cute & creative idea; my faves are 8 and 17. I really like the ruffley stuff on that top! And the color of the boots is gorgeouss.
Ooh I am glad you got to purchase some of your winter buys....I will be looking forward to your pictures!
Hmm as for my one essential, I would have to say that it is an oversize cardigan! Love love love.

After seeing all those textures I really want some more exciting garments, and a nice chunky cable knit sweater!

My autumn/winter essential is a nice chunky scarf to keep my neck nice and safe from all the cold winds that are on their way! Nothing worse for me, than having a cold neck :)

Take care! Katie x

Oooh, what a fun post! I love all those close-ups.

Hmmmm, if I had to pick only one, I'd say my simple, black wool coat. I get the most wear out of it.

I can't wait to see your Marc by Marc Jacobs jacket!

Oooh love these shots, love that bright teal and the purple suede. Gorgeous textures and colours!

I would have to say my essential for winter is probably my green scarf which I make sure I am wearing on cold days!

Those textures are so pretty. I've started to do that when I take pictures of my recently purchased items; take texture shots. And yeah... I'm not too sure about the balloon baby...
